Job Description

All Saints Catholic School is looking for an experienced and qualified school teacher for the 2025-2026 school year to teach 7th grade English part time. We seek dynamic and energetic candidates passionately committed to Catholic education.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

• Embodies and promotes the mission and vision of All Saints Catholic School
• Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church
• Develops and implements a rigorous, standards-based curriculum
• Consistently creates a high level of active student engagement and student-led learning
• Incorporates the six traits of writing into daily instruction within the classroom
• Applies differentiated instruction and assessment that improves achievement for all learners in a learner-centered and collaborative environment
• Develops and uses effective methods of evaluation that are directly related to curriculum objectives and to concepts and skills taught; consistently and effectively evaluate student progress
• Uses technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process including iPads, Chromebooks, smart boards and online instructional platforms
• Establishes a consistent disciplinary approach which promotes self-direction and confidence; sets high standards for student behavior and manages inappropriate behavior effectively
• Communicates regularly with families and implements clear communication systems
• Cooperates with school administration; works effectively with all staff members to promote positive relationships with students and parents
• Completes additional administrative, operational, and professional responsibilities and duties as needed

Qualifications:
•Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
•Protecting God's Children Certificate
