Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with customers to resolve compressed air issues
• Maintain up-to-date information related to compressor technology, with an ongoing focus on sharpening mechanical and diagnostic abilities to ensure customer satisfaction
• Ability to learn how to assemble and disassemble compressors; to fully understand repair issues
• Understand and abide by safety procedures and policies
• Ability to quickly resource information/individuals when needing assistance to complete service calls
• Work effectively with customers to ensure all customer expectations are met/exceeded. Willing to go the “extra mile” to exceed customer expectations
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
• Perform preventive maintenance on compressed air systems to reduce the risk of downtime and extend equipment life.
• Accurately complete service reports, timecards, and documentation related to service work performed.
• Identify and recommend system upgrades, repairs, or replacements based on diagnostics and customer needs.
• Maintain company-provided tools, equipment, and service vehicle in good working order and cleanliness.
• Coordinate with internal service coordinators, parts department, and technical teams to ensure timely resolution of service calls.
• Train customer personnel on basic maintenance and operation of compressed air systems when necessary.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent JHFOSTER’s values while working on customer sites.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergency service when required.
• Utilize diagnostic software or testing equipment to analyze system performance and troubleshoot advanced issues.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety procedures at all times during service visits.
