Are you an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) who appreciates the meticulous side of aviation maintenance? Do you enjoy ensuring every detail is correct on paper, knowing that it's crucial for safety and compliance? This role could be a great fit for you. We're looking for an experienced AME, perhaps someone who is semi-retired or looking for something less hands-on, to help us manage the essential paperwork and regulatory compliance of our aircraft fleet located in Red Deer, AB .

This position focuses on the critical administrative and record-keeping duties that are fundamental to maintaining an airworthy fleet. If you're someone who finds satisfaction in a well-organized logbook and a perfect audit trail, this is an excellent opportunity to use your extensive experience in a more focused, behind-the-scenes capacity.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Document and manage all maintenance activities to ensure accurate and complete records for our aircraft.

  • Verify compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and manufacturer's guidelines for all inspections, repairs, and part replacements.

  • Maintain detailed maintenance logs and inspection reports , ensuring all documentation is ready for audits.

  • Collaborate with our maintenance team to ensure all work performed is accurately recorded and verified.

  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving documentation-related issues , ensuring our records are always up-to-date and compliant.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • Valid Canadian AME license is required.

  • Extensive experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, with a strong understanding of aircraft systems and regulatory requirements.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for accurate record-keeping and compliance.

  • Strong knowledge of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) is essential.

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
