Overview
CTG is seeking an Application Developer - Enterprise Platforms for our client in Reston, VA.
Duration: 4 months
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and troubleshoot Documentum-based applications.
Implement and maintain REST APIs using Spring Framework.
Support platform upgrades, migrations, and cloud deployments (AWS).
Develop software in Java and Python following best practices and design patterns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Agile Scrum frameworks.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud services and deployments.
Required Skills & Experience:
7+ years in Documentum (Content Server, D2, Brava, CTS, xPlore, DFC Client)
2+ years REST API development with Spring Framework
5+ years Java and Python programming
AWS experience: EC2, ECS, RDS, ALB, SSM, SQS, SNS, Lambda, AWS SDK
Tools: Git, Jenkins, Jira, IntelliJ, Tomcat/J2EE, relational databases
Agile Scrum methodology and strong collaboration skills
Education & Certifications:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field (preferred)
Preferred certifications: AWS, Documentum, Java
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are required.
