~ HIRING MECHANICS AT DIA TO WORK ON GROUND SERVICE EQUIPMENT ~

Large Leading Global Aviation and Ground Service Equipment company at Denver International Airport is seeking Service Technicians to join their team! Position Overview:

The GSE (ground service equipment) mechanic plays a key role in repairing, maintaining, inspecting, and troubleshooting various ground service equipment at the airport. The ideal candidate for this position must have experience in the automotive industry, be mechanically inclined, comfortable working with hand and power tools, and comfortable following instructions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Use hand and power tools to repair ground support vehicles and equipment used at the airport
• Read and follow repair manuals for a various types of vehicles and equipment
• Replace or repair components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
• Troubleshoot problems and issues with vehicles and machinery
• Repair and services on tow tractors, baggage carts, buses, trucks, service vans and more
• Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical heavy equipment machinery
• Keep track of parts and tools inventory
• Schedule periodic maintenance and maintain repair logs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the shop

Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Standard Drug Test Required
• Badging Check Required (10 years)
• Proficient with hand and power tools **TOOLS REQUIRED**
• Mechanical repair skills
• Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work prolonged periods on vehicles and equipment

Shift(s):

Tuesday-Saturday OR Sunday-Thursday

• 1st Shift (6AM-2:30PM)
• 2nd Shift (2PM-10:30PM)
• 3rd Shift (10PM-6:30AM)

Pay: $29.50-$35.50/HR

**Pay to be determined by the experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data**

Experience Level:

• Previous experience as an automotive mechanic, heavy equipment mechanic, diesel mechanic and other related experience IS A MUST.

Disqualifiers:

• If you ONLY have preventative maintenance like performing oil changes, fluid top offs, tire rotations etc.
• Unable to obtain a SIDA badge
• If you cannot work 1 weekend day each week - schedule is Tues-Sat OR Sun-Thur

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $35.00/hr.
