Job Description

Our client, a leader in visual communication manufacturing and innovative workplace solutions, is seeking a dedicated Bench Carpenter to join their team. As a Bench Carpenter, you will be an integral part of the Woodwork department supporting the production of high-quality visual communication products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, craftsmanship, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Bench Carpenter

Location: Woodridge, IL

Pay Range: $20-$25

Shift: 1st shift - Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm; 2nd shift - Monday-Friday 2:00pm - 10:30pm; OT as needed

What's the Job?

• Perform finishing work, including trim work, cabinet making, and countertop fabrication with laminates
• Utilize hand tools and power tools such as table saws, chop saws, routers, and other woodworking equipment
• Read blueprints and detailed drawings to ensure precise craftsmanship
• Support the production team in creating high-quality visual communication products
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency

What's Needed?

• Prior experience with finishing carpentry, trim work, or cabinet making
• Proficiency with hand tools and power tools such as table saws, chop saws, and routers
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• High school diploma or equivalent; 5+ years of relevant experience preferred
