Leonard Mountain is seeking an experienced and dynamic Food Production Manager to oversee and optimize food production operations in our food production plant. The ideal candidate will ensure that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently and safely while meeting quality and production goals. This role requires a hands-on leader with a strong background in food production, team management and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities:

1. Production Operations

• Plan and monitor daily production schedules to meet business goals
• Ensure efficient utilization of resources, - labor, materials and equipment
• Maintain strict adherence to production deadlines while minimizing downtime

2. Quality Assurance

• Follow GMP, SQF and HACCP procedures
• Monitor processes to identify and address deviations from these standards.
• Ensure compliance with all Food Safety Regulations - FDA, Local Health Department, PCQI and workplace safety standards
• Implement and enforce health and safety protocols across the production floor.
• Conduct Routine Audits and lead corrective actions as necessary

Qualifications

1. Education

• Food Science Degree or SQF, HACCP or PCQI Certified.

2. Experience

• Minimum 2 years of production supervisory or management experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record of leading diverse teams and driving operations improvements.

3. Skills

• Strong Understanding of food safety regulations - GMP, HACCP and quality control standards
• Excellent problem-solving decision-making and organization skills
• Bilingual Spanish and English Preferred

We also label already jarred food products that complement our Production Line. We have a fast, paced and growing business. The Warehouse Associate will be the Back Up to the Plant Manager and Warehouse Manager. We are looking for a Person who will be able to step into many Tasks and Look for Jobs to do as well. This is a very important Job to our business and we expect the person we hire to be able to be a professional Warehouse Person.
