BayCare Medical Group , the regions largest and most respected physician-led medical group, is actively recruiting four Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Gastroenterologists to join our expanding team in Plant City and Dunedin/Safety Harbor, Florida . These new positions were created to meet growing community demand and provide advanced, high-quality GI care in collaboration with BayCares award-winning hospitals.

Plant City Opportunity South Florida Baptist Hospital

• Join a newly established team at South Florida Baptist Hospital, a 146-bed replacement hospital opened in 2024.
• Access to three state-of-the-art endoscopy suites , full scope capabilities, and experienced support staff.
• ER call 1:4 , shared with local community gastroenterologists.
• Modern multispecialty medical office connected to the hospital.
• Hospitalist group on site to support inpatient care.

Dunedin & Safety Harbor Opportunity Mease Hospitals

• Opportunity to collaborate in developing a GERD and Reflux Center with General Surgery colleagues.
• One of the two positions requires ERCP expertise.
• Inpatient coverage at Mease Countryside and Mease Dunedin Hospitals with manageable ER call (34 days/month).
• Shared outpatient practice and call structure among group physicians.

New Port Richey Opportunity North Bay Hospital

• ERCP expertise is a plus but not required.
• Inpatient coverage at Morton Plant North Bay Hospital with manageable call (1:4).
• Shared outpatient practice and call structure among group physicians.

Candidate Qualifications

• Board-Certified/Board-Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• ERCP skills preferred for one Dunedin/Safety Harbor position.
• Strong clinical and communication skills.
• Interest in program development and delivering patient-centered, collaborative care.
