Hi,
We are looking for a live in caregiver . That means you are there with everyday all day. Most of the clients leave for 7 hours gone to the day program .This position is for someone that may be homeless or someone needing a place to go. The pay is $2000-$2200 a month. Depends on your experience. You are required to prepare breakfast , lunch , & dinner. Give two snacks, take blood pressure, take glucose ,write progress notes, clean up , give out medication, set up appointments, set up transportation and be friendly. You must be able to pass a background check, have your TB test it can be done at the health department or cvs, a physical , CPR/First which can be done online for $16. You’re also required once you start to take a one hour proxy care class. a nurse will come over and show you how to give out medication and sign each resident sheet. There are currently five residents living in the home but we are licensed for five. All my clients are able to shower themselves and all are able to do their own ADL’s. This is not a shift position. ONLY a live in. You will be paid weekly . You can have a weekend off out the month.
