Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute treatment plans for surgical and dental procedures.
• Prepare animals for surgery and assist in the operating room.
• Perform dental procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and radiology.
• Maintain detailed surgical records and review treatment plans.
• Communicate with clients to address questions and concerns regarding their pet's care.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to manage orders and ensure efficient workflows, keeping procedures on schedule.

Are You the Ideal Candidate?

• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experienced in utilizing your full skillset as a Certified Veterinary Technician.
• Proficient in anesthesia induction and monitoring, surgical assisting, and dentistry.
• Strong in client communication and pet care education.

Full-Time Benefits and Compensation

• Enjoy a full-time position with a 4/10 schedule, available Monday-Saturday.
• Compensation: $20-$22 per hour, for each hour worked*
• Bonus Package: $2,000.
• Continuing Education (CE) Allowance: $500 in the first year, $1,000 annually thereafter.

Minimum Qualifications & Skillset

• Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Illinois.
• 1-3 years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting.
• Proficiency in:
  • Anesthesia induction and monitoring.
  • Surgical assisting, preparation, and cleanup.
  • Dentistry, including cleaning/scaling and radiology.
  • Venipuncture and cystocentesis.
  • Client communication and education.
