Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead all aspects of financial management across a fast-paced, high-growth, multi-entity organization. This role is ideal for a CPA with deep expertise in GAAP reporting, budgeting, team leadership, and systems implementation. The ideal candidate will have a background in public accounting and significant experience in property management, hospitality, or real estate.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the financial operations across multiple entities (30+), overseeing financial reporting, forecasting, cash flow management, and capital project accounting.
Drive month-end close process improvements, targeting a five-day close cycle across all entities.
Deliver timely and accurate GAAP-compliant financial statements and management reports to executive leadership and external stakeholders.
Manage treasury functions, investor relations, and compliance with debt covenants.
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, IT, and tax teams to streamline financial workflows and implement system efficiencies.
Lead acquisition integrations, including accounting for closing statements and transitioning systems
Supervise and mentor a high-performing finance team, including accounting managers and analysts.
Oversee quarterly forecasting processes and develop strategic financial models to support business growth and investment decisions.
Qualifications:
CPA Preferred; Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including public accounting and leadership roles in industry.
Demonstrated success leading teams in dynamic, multi-entity environments.
Expertise in U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
Strong systems background; experience with ERP implementations (NetSuite preferred).
Effective communicator with the ability to present financials and insights to executives, investors, and partners.
Preferred Background:
Experience in property management, real estate, or hospitality.
M&A exposure including acquisition accounting and systems integration.
