About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to provide visionary leadership and strategic oversight of its comprehensive revenue-generating efforts. The CRO will be responsible for aligning and optimizing fundraising, marketing, and earned income strategies to drive integrated initiatives that support long-term sustainability, financial growth, and mission impact. This executive-level position requires the CRO to work closely with internal teams, board members, alumni, donors, and partners to ensure collaborative, mission-aligned strategies that elevate the company's reach, brand, and revenue capacity. Candidates for the CRO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree or certification preferred) and a minimum of 10 years of experience in development, marketing, or revenue-focused leadership roles, preferably within the nonprofit or mission-driven sector. The role involves team leadership and management, strategic responsibilities, and departmental oversight in development, marketing, and business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams and growing organizational revenue across multiple streams, as well as experience in fundraising campaigns, brand management, strategic communications, and earned revenue strategies. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to inspire staff, engage stakeholders, and represent the company's mission effectively. The CRO will also be expected to travel as needed and work evenings or weekends in support of events and donor activities.
