About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to be the technical backbone of the organization. The CTO will be responsible for driving the engineering strategy, architecture, and infrastructure decisions, as well as leading by example in writing production-level code and mentoring a high-performing engineering team. This role is pivotal in shaping the product alongside the founders, designers, and users, with a focus on fast iteration and direct feedback loops. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on engineering leader with a strong background in software engineering, including experience in high-performance backend systems, modern frontend stacks, or AI/ML pipelines. Familiarity with GPU infrastructure, model inference workflows, and scaling cloud-based systems is essential, and experience in generative media, creator tools, or real-time rendering pipelines is a bonus. The successful CTO will be a product-minded and user-obsessed individual, comfortable with rapid cycles, incomplete data, and hard technical trade-offs. They should be able to navigate between individual contribution and executive-level leadership, and be drawn to high-upside opportunities.
