Job Title: Clinical Research Associate I (Per diem) Department: Department of Orthopaedics, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Location: San Diego, CA Job Category: Academic / Research Job Specialty: Research Studies / Clinical Trial Employment Type: Part-time Seniority Level: Entry level Shift: Day, 8 hours Pay Range: $19.50 - $32.86 per hour Job Description The Clinical Research Associate I (CRAI) will work closely with a Clinical Research Coordinator, Research Program Administrator, Research Nurse, or Principal Investigator to coordinate and implement clinical studies. Responsibilities include evaluating and abstracting research data, ensuring compliance with protocols, completing case report forms, entering data into Electronic Data Systems, and assisting with regulatory submissions and study logistics. Limited patient contact for follow-up and study procedures is expected. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Coordinate and implement study activities with research team members. Evaluate and abstract clinical research data from source documents. Ensure compliance with study protocols and objectives. Complete and enter data into CRFs and Electronic Data Systems. Assist with regulatory submissions to IRB, including adverse event reporting. Support clinical trial budgets and patient billing processes. Schedule research visits and procedures. Manage sample preparation, shipping, and study supplies. Maintain compliance with FDA, IRB, and other regulatory guidelines. Follow Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA. Participate in training and educational programs. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree in science or related field preferred. 1-year clinical research experience preferred. Ability to perform moderate lifting, sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods. Understanding of clinical research objectives; experience preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr iHire
