Location: L’Enfant Plaza, Washington D.C.

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Architect to join our team of IT project professionals. This role focuses on reviewing, assessing, and remediating issues across various IT initiatives including the Network Redesign and Exadata migration to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise cloud architecture solutions.

• Collaborate with business owners, analysts, engineers, development teams, and infrastructure services.

• Define, establish, and communicate application and data architecture standards, policies, and directions.

• Design high-quality architectures aligned with organizational requirements and enterprise standards.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.

• 4 years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes troubleshooting.

• 4 years of experience supporting production environments on Azure, with AWS/Google Cloud as a plus.

• Proven experience in a high-performing team, focused on improving skills and capabilities.

• A strong sense of ownership and a “Get-it-done” approach.

• Additional certifications in cloud technologies or related areas.

Physical Demands

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards

• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.

• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

The pay range for this position is $73- $83 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law
