Job Description
4P Consulting Inc. is seeking a Field PLC Controls Engineer with expertise in Modicon PLCs to support a client in Goose Creek, SC . This role is hands-on and requires working directly in industrial and manufacturing environments , troubleshooting and maintaining automation control systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for on-site diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades to PLC-based automation systems. Key Responsibilities
3+ years of hands-on experience in PLC troubleshooting, field service, or industrial automation maintenance .
Expertise in Modicon PLCs (Schneider Electric) and field diagnostics.
Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including control panels, sensors, VFDs, and instrumentation .
Ability to work in high-paced, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments .
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, hands-on approach to troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in the field with minimal supervision and respond to urgent service requests.
