Job Qualifications

As a Craft Brewery Sales & Distribution Manager in North Central Massachusetts you will need:

• A relentless passion for craft beer.
• Significant experience in craft beer sales, marketing, production, or a combination of these areas.
• Proven leadership skills and a passion for mentoring and developing top talent.
• A track record in beverage marketing and sales with measurable success.
• Excellent references from past craft beverage roles.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with an aptitude for forecasting and strategic thinking.

Job Responsibilities

Join us as our Craft Brewery Sales & Distribution Manager in North Central Massachusetts where you'll:

• Expand Sales: Aggressively grow the brewery's distribution footprint while enhancing our brand presence.
• Customer Support: Conduct site visits, promote POS materials, manage tastings, assist with tap line cleaning, and foster customer relationships.
• Production Management: Oversee demand forecasting, style/volume planning, and SKU availability for at least 6 months ahead of projected needs.
• Quality Control: Design and implement a QC program and tasting panel to ensure consistent beer quality.
• Distribution Management & Logistics: Manage inventory and shipping, build distributor relationships, and ensure strategic product placement.
• Sales Monitoring & Analysis: Identify trends, track performance, and refine sales techniques to elevate business impact.
• Sales Initiatives: Explore market trends and work collaboratively to launch innovative promotions.
• Beer Education: Develop engaging programs for both staff and customer knowledge enhancement.
• Event Participation: Represent the brand at beer tastings, shows, and events throughout Massachusetts.
• Critical Reporting: Generate concise weekly business reports on production, sales, and customer success for management.
