We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in New London, Connecticut. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to grow while contributing to a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer hardware and software support, combined with exceptional customer service skills.

Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software across the organization.
• Respond promptly to IT service tickets, analyzing and resolving complex technical issues to ensure user satisfaction.
• Document resolutions and maintain detailed records to support knowledge sharing and process improvement.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to address challenges that extend beyond the scope of the support team.
• Supervise and mentor IT Service Desk student employees when necessary, providing leadership and high-level assistance.
• Perform routine maintenance on the organization's computer fleet to ensure optimal functionality.
• Contribute to team development by sharing knowledge, fostering collaboration, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to and update organizational policies to align with best practices and compliance standards.
• Engage in skill development by attending conferences, webinars, and networking with peers.
• Participate in campus activities and events to support the broader mission of the organization.• Associate’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• One to three years of experience providing systems support in a detail-oriented or educational setting.
• Proficiency in computer hardware (desktops, laptops, monitors, docking stations) and software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Windows, MacOS).
• Familiarity with device management systems such as Intune, Jamf Pro, or Kandji.
• Strong attention to detail with proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues accurately.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to users with varying levels of expertise.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work both independently and collaboratively.
• Multicultural competence, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and teams.
