Location: Torrance, CA; Other associated CSC Venues in the LA County Area as needed

FLSA Status: Exempt

COMPENSATION: $85,000 – $100,000 Annually

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

 

The Director of Workforce Planning leads CSC Los Angeles recruitment strategy, driving the design, execution, and ongoing optimization of hiring initiatives across all branches and regions. This role is responsible for attracting, selecting, and retaining high-quality talent to meet the operational demands of major events, corporate functions, and local branch needs. Additionally, the Director oversees recruitment technology, employer branding, outreach campaigns, and strategic partnerships, ensuring a proactive, data-driven approach to workforce readiness and long-term retention.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties below reflect the minimum requirements for this position.

 

  • Designs and executes comprehensive recruiting strategies to support organizational growth and meet dynamic branch-level staffing demands.
  • Leads the planning and delivery of high-impact hiring initiatives, including large-scale events, university partnerships, community outreach, and targeted digital campaigns.
  • Provides strategic leadership to regional and branch recruiting teams, establishing performance metrics and driving accountability for results.
  • Champions the integration of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) principles across all recruitment strategies and talent acquisition practices.
  • Oversees county-level hiring campaigns, optimizes use of the applicant tracking system, and ensures consistent reporting on key recruitment KPIs.
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with Training, Operations, and Human Resources teams to ensure a seamless and efficient onboarding experience and workforce ramp-up.
  • Continuously evaluates and enhances recruitment tools, processes, job board performance, and vendor relationships to improve efficiency and candidate quality.
  • Maintains full compliance with federal, state, and local hiring regulations and labor laws.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert in workforce planning and recruiting best practices, offering guidance and insights across the organization.
  • Represents CSC at strategic recruiting events, industry conferences, and community engagements to build brand awareness and talent pipelines.
  • Supports contract acquisition efforts and represents CSC Los Angeles Recruiting during RFP presentations and client meetings
  • Performs additional duties and special projects as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Sports Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required (master’s degree preferred), along with 5–7 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, including at least 3 years in a leadership role managing multi-site or national recruitment programs.

LANGUAGE ABILITY:

Ability to craft and interpret complex communications, recruitment metrics, and strategic documents. Skilled in addressing executive leadership, community stakeholders, and high-volume applicant groups.

 

MATH ABILITY:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

COMPUTER & EQUIPMENT SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other office software. Must be able to learn internal platforms.
