We are looking for instructors in Golden, Lakewood, and Littleton locations!
A Driving Instructor is responsible for teaching individuals the rules of the road and safe operation of a motor vehicle, providing hands-on driving practice, and guiding students to develop the skills and confidence needed to pass their driving test and become safe, competent drivers, while ensuring adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering theoretical driving lessons covering road signs, traffic laws, vehicle controls, and safe driving practices.
Providing personalized driving lessons, guiding students through maneuvers like parking, lane changes, merging, and driving in various road conditions.
Evaluating student progress, identifying areas for improvement, and tailoring lessons accordingly.
Offering constructive feedback to students on their driving techniques, addressing any concerns or weaknesses.
Keeping detailed records of student progress, lesson plans, and driving hours.
Prioritizing student safety by ensuring proper vehicle maintenance and following all safety protocols.
Scheduling lessons, communicating effectively with students, and addressing any concerns or questions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Possessing a clean driving record and a current valid driver's license.
Strong communication and instructional ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently.
Comprehensive understanding of traffic laws, road signs, and safe driving practices.
Ability to closely observe student driving behaviors and identify areas for improvement.
Flexibility to adjust teaching methods based on individual student needs and learning styles.
Maintaining composure in stressful situations and providing positive reinforcement to students.
