Job Description

TekPro Engineering is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead electrical construction efforts on high-profile data center project s. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing projects from pre-construction through closeout, preferably within an electrical subcontractor setting.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of electrical construction projects for data centers, from planning to final commissioning
• Coordinate with general contractors, owners, engineers, and field teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Lead project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Prepare and review submittals, RFIs, change orders, and progress reports
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and contractual standards
• Conduct site visits and manage field coordination efforts
• Mentor junior staff and assist in developing project team capabilities

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing electrical construction projects, with at least 2 years focused on data centers
• Prior experience working for an electrical subcontractor is strongly preferred
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, drawings, and NEC codes
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project documentation
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or Primavera P6)
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required)
