**Job Title: Emergency Department Nurse (ED Nurse) - Contract Position**
**Shift:** Days, 12 hours (10:45 AM - 11:15 PM)
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Nurse (ED Nurse) for a contract position with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of recent Emergency Department experience and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). This role requires individuals who thrive in high volume settings and have experience in travel nursing, having completed at least one contract assignment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Assess patient needs and provide appropriate interventions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date certifications and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
**Qualifications:**
- Three (3) years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.
- Previous travel nursing experience (at least one contract assignment completed).
- High volume and fast-paced environment experience preferred.
- Current and valid New Jersey nursing license or compact license required.
- Certifications in AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS are required (no pending certifications or those expiring within 30 days of submission will be accepted).
**Additional Information:**
- Weekend shifts: Every other weekend or three per month depending on needs.
- Holidays: No holiday shifts are required.
- Requests for time off (RTO) limited to no more than three days.
- Orientation is mandatory; failure to complete full orientation will result in immediate termination.
- Candidates will receive further instructions about orientation via email prior to the start date.
