We are looking for a curious and driven Entry-Level Wastewater Treatment Process Engineer to work on water and water resource recovery projects in the California Market. The position is based out of the Jacobs office located in Redding, California. As a Wastewater Treatment Process Engineer, you will work with a core group of engineers on studies, designs, and field assignments for clients. The position includes evaluating and recommending the best treatment approach to solve a client's challenges, planning and designing treatment systems and plant improvements, and providing engineering support for projects in construction. Project assignments will be municipal wastewater- focused but could also include work on potable and recycled water systems. Tasks would include technical studies, computer modeling, technical report writing, engineering design, and construction services support. At Jacobs, we provide the opportunity to design your career with a company that inspires and empowers you to deliver your best work so you can evolve, grow, and succeed - today and into tomorrow.  Submit a cover letter and resume to begin your journey. * Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or related engineering discipline * Engineer-In-Training (EIT) or ability to obtain soon after hire * Proficient skills with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, strong data analysis skills, technical problem-solving ability, organizational skills, and the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment * Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ideally, you'll also have: * Master's degree in civil, environmental, or related engineering discipline * Previous experience in Wastewater, specifically in wastewater process modeling (e.g. BioWin, Sumo), hydraulic modeling (e.g. Fathom, AutoPIPE) and/ or Wet Chemistry laboratory * Construction and facility operations experience Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
