Feed Mill Production Operator - 2nd Shift

What You’ll Do

As a Feed Mill Production Operator, you will play a vital role in the production of bulk animal feed. Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring the efficiency of the production process to ensure timely loading and shipment.
• Using the batching system to ensure all ingredients, whether bulk or bagged, are used in the correct amounts.
• Ensuring all bagged ingredient products are used in hand adds and micro feeders.
• Assembling and preparing goods for shipment.
• Completing receiving paperwork.
• Conducting quality assurance testing on goods and products.
• Maintaining proper storage for material and product inventory in warehouses.
• Organizing inventory for easy access.
• Utilizing machinery such as forklifts to load orders.
• Maintaining the quality and upkeep of warehouse equipment, including machinery.
• Moving materials or completed products and packages to designated locations.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and proactive team member with the following qualifications:

• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and remain active for extended periods.
• Availability to work 10-hour shifts, starting at 1:30 pm with a floating end time, Monday to Friday.
• Basic math and computer skills for accurate record-keeping and operation of automated systems.
• Experience with forklifts, tractors, or front-end loaders is desirable but not essential.
