We at Leaf'd Box are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Greenhouse Manager to oversee our greenhouse operations. This role is a balance of hands-on greenhouse work and technical operations, requiring strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for horticulture. The Greenhouse Manager will lead a team of greenhouse workers and an executive greenhouse assistant, managing all aspects of plant care, production, and logistics. This is for vegetable, flower, and herb gardening only. This includes pest control and fertilizer applications, watering schedules, plant growth tracking, and the nationwide shipment of thousands of plants each week.

This role requires not only expertise in vegetable greenhouse management but also strong technical skills in Excel and operations management. The ideal candidate is a proven leader who can guide a team, collaborate with the director of operations, and independently run a large-scale greenhouse facility.

• Oversee all daily greenhouse operations and lead the greenhouse team.
• Manage pest control and fertilizer applications directly.
• Develop and maintain watering schedules to optimize plant health.
• Track plant growth cycles and production using spreadsheets and technical systems.
• Coordinate weekly shipments of thousands of herbs, flowers, and vegetables nationwide.
• Collaborate with the director of operations to plan plant lists and ensure top-quality crops.
• Balance hands-on greenhouse work with technical, computer-based operations.
• Ensure team productivity, efficiency, and high standards in all operations.

• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, horticulture, or a related field.
• Previous experience in greenhouse management and plant production.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Strong technical skills, including advanced Excel proficiency.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to independently oversee a large-scale greenhouse operation.

• $66,560 -$72,800 per year
• Paid Time Off (PTO).
• Select paid holidays.
