Handfinisher, Staff

We are looking for a Handfinisher to join our Ogden team. As our Handfinisher you will control the high-power CNC laser equipment for the purpose of laser peening materials.

You will set up equipment, monitor laser parameters, utilize precision metallic tape, and follow detailed process instructions.

This is a great opportunity for an entry level machine operator professional who would like to learn about laser technology.

Location: Ogden, UT

Shift: Morning Shift 6:00 AM -2:30 PM

Hourly Rate: $20-$23

Your Challenge:

• Operate CNC laser equipment with a high level of accuracy and quality with minimal supervision

• Accurately follow and interpret detailed process instructions
  \n
\n
• Ability to change over the equipment to match the specifications required for the job
  \n
\n
• Assist in the job training of fellow operators
  \n
\n
• Load parts onto robots
  \n
\n
• Record process data
  \n
\n
• Applying and removing precision metallic tape required for the laser peening process
  \n
\n

What You Bring:

• Experience with lasers, robotics, or CNC type equipment is preferred
  \n
\n
• Ability to read, understand and follow detailed instructions
  \n
\n
• Basic computer skills
  \n
\n
• Must be able to obtain a DOD security clearance
  \n
\n
