The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is hiring a part-time Houseperson to join our team at the Sheraton Hotel in Nashua, New Hampshire. As a Houseperson, you will work to ensure the property is kept organized, sanitized, and up to company standards.

What will you do?

• Clean building floors, carpets, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms; remove dirty linens from guest rooms and transport to the laundry room; take clean linens to housekeeping carts and storage closets
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
• Notify managers of needed repairs or additions to building operations systems
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies; deliver cribs, rollaways, and additional items as requested

More about you

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No experience or diploma required
• At least one year of working in the hospitality industry is preferred

Physical requirements

• Frequent standing, walking, climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying; use of hands to operate cleaning equipment and complete scrubbing/washing duties
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
