Job Summary:

Are you ready to immerse yourself in the dynamic world of beauty and make a lasting impact? As a Corporate Communications Intern at e.l.f. Beauty, you’ll be at the heart of everything, helping us tell our story and amplify our brand in exciting ways! You’ll get hands-on experience supporting our communications team, boosting brand visibility, engagement, and reputation. From creating compelling content and tracking media coverage to assisting with high-energy events and projects, you’ll be making waves across platforms like LinkedIn and Slack. Responsibilities:

  • Internal Communications: Assist in creating engaging company-wide content, from newsletters to Slack updates, working closely with HR and Employee Experience to foster an engaging internal culture
  • Administrative Support: Keep the communications team on track with scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing key files for smooth operations
  • Asset Management: Maintain an organized library of press releases, images, videos, and other assets—keeping everything ready for future projects
  • Content Writing: Develop written content that resonates with both internal teams and external audiences, blending business and consumer tones while telling our story
  • Product Management: Handle product orders for events, editor giftings, and more, ensuring everything is on point for our exciting initiatives
  • Media Monitoring & Analysis: Track and analyze media coverage of e.l.f. Beauty, providing actionable insights that help shape our strategy
  • Share of Voice (SOV) Insights: Measure e.l.f. Beauty’s media presence and compare it to our competitors, helping us refine our communication strategies
  • Social Media Performance Analysis: Dive into LinkedIn metrics and optimize our content and engagement strategies for maximum impact
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Build strong connections across teams to ensure smooth communication and successful outcomes
  • Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy Support: Track communication assets and ensure they align with campaign goals for smooth and timely execution
  • Industry Research & Insights: Stay on top of the latest trends, competitor activities, and emerging communication platforms to bring fresh ideas to the table
  • Awards & Speaking Opportunities: Help track industry awards and speaking opportunities to position e.l.f. Beauty as a recognized leader in the beauty space
  • Event Coordination: Assist with planning and organizing exciting corporate events, product launches, press conferences, and industry conferences

Requirements:

  • Ability to commit to a 6 - 12 month internship
  • Recent graduate with a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
  • At least one internship or hands-on experience in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail and accuracy
  • A passion for storytelling, strategy development, and creative thinking
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working both independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with social media platforms
  • Experience with media monitoring tools or analytics platforms is a plus!

Bonus Skills:

Experience in graphic design or creating social media assets to elevate content creation.

Must be available to work in-person at our NY office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
