Job Description

OVERVIEW: The Junior Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining our company's web applications, as well as collaborating with the IT department and external web partners to design and implement new features. EDUCATION: Associates Degree (Bachelors Degree preferred) or equivalent relevant experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with internal teams (Digital Communications, Marketing, etc.) to develop the visual design of ministry websites. Create and maintain website code using front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS (TailwindCSS), and JavaScript. Knowledge of PHP and Laravel is a plus. Produce, maintain, and modify websites and user interfaces. Integrate applications, graphics, audio, and video into ministry websites. Develop tools to enhance user experience on websites. Ensure website accessibility across various devices including laptops and smartphones. Test websites regularly for usability, speed, and quality. Address and fix website issues or bugs as they arise. Perform other related projects as assigned. WORK SCHEDULE: In-office on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, with the option for remote work on Monday and Friday. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.
