Position Summary: The LabVIEW Developer is passionate about solving complex problems and adds value to BAPI and the Engineering Team by developing and administrating LabVIEW code for production and validation purposes. A creative LabVIEW developer brings ideas, solve challenges, and helps drive our products into production on schedule, at cost target, and with great quality.

LabVIEW Developer Principle Responsibilities:

Manufacturing test programs development and sustainability

1. Test programs interface with ATE test fixtures.
2. Work with Engineering team to create programs to test products in production
3. Work with Manufacturing to create efficient processes and front panel interfaces.

Product verification/validation test programs.

1. Create automated test programs for Engineering team
2. Create programs to configure and test product
3. Automate data collection an analysis to improve quality and efficiency

LabVIEW software administration, maintenance, and support.

1. Organize code into repository
2. Create structure and architecture to support demand
3. Deploy executables and admin license subscriptions.
4. Assigned goal development

LabVIEW Developer Education Requirements (R/Required, P/Preferred):

(R) Associate's Degree, Trade or Technical School

(P) Bachelor's Degree

Degrees Preferred: Electrical Engineering or similar discipline

Specific Training in this field (R/Required, P/Preferred):

1. (R) 3 years in use/administration of LabVIEW
2. (P) LabVIEW certified (CLD, CLA)

Experience/Knowledge in this field (R/Required, P/Preferred):

1. (R) Strong LabVIEW skills
2. (R) Hands-on experience on working with instrumentation drivers for data acquisition devices
3. (R) Experience working with instrumentation protocols like GPIB, Serial, Modbus, TCP/IP, USB, I2C, SPI
4. (R) Familiar with test executive software
5. (R) Familiar with databases and database management systems
