We are seeking a motivated and personable Neighborhood Insurance Sales Representative to join our award-winning team. In this role, you will go door-to-door in select neighborhoods throughout Johnson County, engaging with prospective customers at their homes. You will learn and utilize proven scripting and the Abbott Agency Approacha unique, customer-focused method that guides every interaction from discovery to proposal and binding.

ResponsibilitiesConduct door-to-door outreach in designated Johnson County neighborhoods.
Learn and consistently apply the Abbott Agency Approach for all customer interactions.
Engage prospects using approved scripts and personalized communication.
Quote a minimum of 60 households or 210 insurance items per month.
Guide customers through the discovery, proposal, and bind stages of the sales process.
Join and actively participate in a weekly referral group.
Achieve monthly sales goals:
Issue at least $20,000 in new line premium
Write 20 new policies
Submit 3 new life insurance applications
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
Obtain and maintain required insurance licenses (P&C and Life) for the state of Kansas.
RequirementsMust obtain Kansas Property & Casualty (P&C) and Life insurance licenses within 60 days of hire.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; comfortable with face-to-face customer engagement.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
Willingness to work outdoors and travel within Johnson County neighborhoods.
Ability to learn and follow sales scripts and the Abbott Agency Approach.
Commitment to meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets.
Previous sales or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
