A leading global law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join the firm’s downtown San Francisco office. The Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for supporting attorneys in all phases of complex litigation, primarily with Class Action and Antitrust cases. This includes case management, court filings, document review and production, drafting and responding to discovery, deposition and trial preparation, cite-checking, and mentoring junior paralegals. This position has a flexible work arrangement and requires only 1 in-office day/week. Responsibilities: Assisting Attorneys in all phases of litigation from case initiation through trial including calendaring case deadlines, drafting court filings and preparations in Federal and State courts, and assisting with discovery and document collection. Proofreading, cite checking and preparing blue book court briefs and discovery documents. Assisting with deposition, meeting, or interview preparations. Assisting with all aspects, including travel, of trial and arbitration preparations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required. 7+ years of relevant experience preferred. Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program. Proficiency in California state and U.S. federal court procedures. Understanding of common litigation practices, procedures, regulations, and workflow. Proficiency in Lexis Nexis and Westlaw. Experience with eDiscovery Databases such as Relativity, Opus 2, and CaseMap. The compensation range for this position is $120,000-$140,000. Additional benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance, 19 PTO days and sick time upon hire, a birthday holiday, and parking allowance.
