iWorld Professionals is seeking a Logistics Supervisor for our client, a growing manufacturing company in Rochester NY. This is a full-time on-site position in Rochester NY.

Logistics Supervisor Position Overview:

The Logistics Supervisor oversees the end-to-end order-to-delivery process. This role will manage a team of Dispatchers, Customer Service Representatives, and CDL-A Drivers, ensuring efficient scheduling, safe operations, and exceptional customer service. The Logistics Supervisor will play a key role in optimizing fleet performance, improving processes, and driving compliance with federal, state, and internal policies.

Logistics Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Oversee routing and scheduling to maximize productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Supervise daily operations of Dispatchers, Customer Service, and CDL-A Drivers.
• Partner with safety and HR teams to manage driver compliance, training, certifications, and file maintenance.
• Maintain strong working relationships with internal departments to deliver excellent customer service.
• Analyze performance metrics and coach team members for continuous improvement.
• Proactively troubleshoot service issues and ensure timely problem resolution.
• Manage third-party carriers as needed to meet delivery demands.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members through training, feedback, and performance evaluations.

Logistics Supervisor Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or fleet management with direct people leadership.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain distribution and logistics operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and logistics/dispatch systems.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Strong demonstrable customer service experience
• Ability to work onsite in Rochester, NY.
