RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise and coordinate daily logistics activities for outbound shipments and yard operations
Monitor and optimize truck check-in and loading processes to minimize wait times at the inbound dock, enhancing operational efficiency
Oversee and optimize rail logistics, ensuring efficient coordination with rail carriers to streamline inbound shipments
Utilize (SAP) for inventory management and control of outbound shipments
Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to outbound float optimization and scale wait times to drive continuous improvement
Collaborate with the Inbound team to ensure seamless inventory management and optimal on-site OCC inventory levels

Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS

Experience in a supervisory or management role within logistics, warehousing, or a related field, specifically overseeing outbound logistics activities in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in ERP systems, with preference for SAP, or experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), particularly for managing outbound inventory and shipments
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in logistics and transportation operations in the manufacturing industry a must.
Experience with change management is a must!
