• W2 Contract-to-Hire, 6 Months
• This position is 100% on-site in Columbia, MD.
Responsibilities
Our client is looking for 2 Mailroom Clerks working in a Mailroom environment, to separate, open, sort, and scan mail on a daily basis. The Mailroom Clerk will also be responsible for moving mail bins to loading docks for US Mail pick up, delivering checks to various departments in the corporate office, inputting data in spreadsheets, and printing and mailing materials.
Required Skills & Experience
• High school diploma or GED and 1+ year of experience working in an office environment.
• Previous mailroom experience and ability to sort and scan large amounts of mail.
• Experience using printers and scanners.
• Dependable, team-oriented with a willingness to work onsite five (5) days per week.
• Hardworking with strong attention to detail.
• Highly reliable and committed.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to stand for long periods of time with the ability to lift 30lbs. with assistance.
Preferred Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Basic computer proficiency – namely in typing (40+ WPM).
• Experience working in Microsoft Office – namely Word and Excel.
