Apartment Manager – Residential Community (Lapeer, MI)

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Apartment Manager to oversee daily operations at a large residential community in Lapeer. The role includes leasing, resident relations, maintenance coordination, vendor oversight, a nd managing multiple unit renovations during ongoing community improvements.

Responsibilities

• Show units, process applications, and execute leases
• Manage rent collections and maintain accurate records
• Track and assign maintenance requests
• Oversee unit turns and monitor renovation progress and contractor timelines
• Conduct daily property inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety
• Coordinate landscaping, snow removal, and other vendor services
• Maintain organized documentation and provide regular updates to management

Qualifications

• Prior multifamily property management experience required
• Strong leasing, communication, and customer service skills
• Highly organized with consistent follow-through and deadline discipline
• Comfortable directing maintenance staff and managing contractors
• Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
