Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Material Handler transports and delivers parts from the warehouse to the production area. Manually loads, unloads truck, unpacks, shelves and places items in proper storage locations. Transports materials by hand truck, cart, or industrial truck to production staging areas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Selects parts (picks) from storage shelves and prepares them for transfer to the production areas.
Delivers parts stored in the warehouse to production area and picks up material and crates.
Operates forklifts to transport and move parts from one area to another.
Inspects, cleans, and maintains assigned equipment.
Performs cycle counts to ensure parts inventory is maintained at acceptable levels.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: High School diploma or equivalent
Certificate(s) or License(s): Fork trucks or lifts certified or willingness to become certified
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
Able to operate an industrial forklift
Able to always wear hearing protection and eye protection
Trained in MSDS sheets
