Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investment Banking Vice President to join our dynamic Mid Cap Investment Banking team specializing in Media & Communications.

Job Summary

As a Vice President, you will develop strong relationships with corporate and financial institution clients, working across various banking products including mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, loans, and equity and debt capital raises.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary client contact and lead banker on deals.
Coordinate and review the work of junior bankers to facilitate deal execution.
Refine marketing and execution materials for maximum impact.
Oversee financial modeling and projections.
Identify and manage deal risks.
Collaborate with external and internal parties (lawyers, accountants, counterparties).
Lead negotiations and client interactions.

Qualifications & Skills

Relevant experience in investment banking front office roles.
Experience training junior bankers.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including Excel modeling and valuation.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Independent project management skills and high responsibility level.
Professional interaction with clients.
Understanding of financial, legal, and reputational risks.
