Part-Time Office Assistant

We are a busy, friendly insurance agency looking for a reliable and organized Office Assistant to join our team. This is a part-time position, working 3 days per week, with potential for additional hours for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the first point of contact for clients: answer phones, greet visitors, and direct inquiries

Assist staff with clerical and administrative support

Handle insurance documents, including sending proofs of insurance to banks and processing renewal reminders

Schedule appointments and help manage calendar reminders

Forward client questions or documents to the appropriate staff or insurance companies

Perform other office tasks as needed

Requirements:

Comfortable using computers and basic office software

Strong organizational and communication skills

Professional and friendly demeanor

No insurance experience or licensing required; training will be provided

Appointment Scheduling: Assist in scheduling appointments and meetings, coordinating with relevant parties.

Office Supplies Management: Monitor office supplies inventory and place orders as needed to maintain stock levels.

Customer Interaction: Greet and assist clients and visitors, offering a friendly and welcoming environment.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with office staff to support various projects and tasks.

Requirements

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Previous experience in an administrative or secretarial role is beneficial.
