We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for our clients, utilizing multiple payroll platforms, and managing employee timekeeping records with precision. Proficiency in Excel is essential for data reconciliation, reporting, and processing. Professionalism and confidentiality are a must, as you will handle sensitive information and serve as a trusted resource for our clients’ workforce. To be successful in this role, you should have: Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Minimum 5 years experience in a payroll position Experience providing payroll solutions for multiple companies Ability to prioritize workload effectively Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience with Benefit and 401k Reporting Ownership of client deliverables Knowledge of California wage and hour laws Proactive approach and responsibility awareness Commitment to accuracy and timeliness in payroll processing Familiarity with software platforms such as Paychex, Paylocity, Gusto, Rippling, and others like Slack, Asana, Google Suite, MS Office, Ease (Mineral) A typical day involves responding to workforce questions, coordinating with 401k and benefit providers, and focusing on completing payroll deadlines.
