SUMMARY
Provides Unleashed Customer Service by performing services in accordance with the PetSmart's bathing
standards and procedures.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
May include, but are not limited to, the following:
Delights Pet Parents and helps achieve PetSmart's DOG strategy that stands for "Delighting our
Customers," "Operating Excellence" and "Growing Services".
Completes all bath and brush needs for breeds independently.
Follows all policies and procedures and is required to pass yearly safety certification.
Performs nail trim services.
Answers phone and makes appointments. Conducts reminder calls.
Maintains detailed customer history by recording services performed on pets in the TouchPoint computer.
Able to check in/check out pets including proper filling out of client records/receipts, filing of salon
records, call back programs, booking, and entry of appointments in appointment book and TouchPoint.
Maintains a high level of cleanliness, sanitation, and humane conditions for all pets in the grooming area.
Maintenance will be performed throughout the day, including end of day cleaning in accordance with the
maintenance checklist.
Assists and works in other departments as required. Other duties may be assigned.

High School diploma or GED preferred.

associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally team lift and/or move in
excess of 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include depth perception.
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts
and high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Exposure to
live animals and their handling is common.
