Obtains blood samples from inpatients/outpatients by established collection techniques appropriate to the age/level of difficulty of the patient, Performs all duties to the identification/accessioning/labeling/distribution of samples for assay,
Performs all skills as defined by department competency checklists,
Section III: Job Qualifications/Education/Training/Certification/Licensure
Successful completion of a formal medical assistant/phlebotomy training program,
National certification preferred not required
