We are seeking a Plumbers to join our team! We are a mid-size Mechanical Contractor looking for:

Journeymen

Journeymen are responsible for the installation and repair of water and waste and vent systems. Assignments are generally routine and detailed instructions are given with assignments. Problems are referred to the supervisor. The employee receives limited direct supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Measures, cuts, threads, assembles and installs pipes and tubing under limited direct supervision
• Checks plumbing systems to detect leaks
• Installs water and sanitary fixtures under limited supervision
• Makes repairs to waste vent and water systems
• General housekeeping of equipment and work area

Qualifications:

• Some knowledge of the techniques, methods and tools of the plumbing trade
• Skill in the performance of duties related to the plumbing trade
• Ability to use tools associated with the plumbing trade
• Ability to follow oral or written instructions
• Ability and physical strength sufficient to move objects
• Bending and lifting items of a reasonable weight on average 50lbs. or more
• Climb and/or maintain balance
• Stooping, kneeling, crouching
• Reach for, handle and manipulate objects
