Average hours: Varies Location: Various properties DC, Maryland, Virginia, Central, and South Florida Employment type: Part?time / 1099 Contractor Responsibilities Perform weekly property inspections and site checks on vacant and occupied properties. Rekey and secure locks as needed. Take photos and complete condition reports using mobile or online platforms. Post notices and document communications. Identify and report property damages, safety hazards, or maintenance issues. Coordinate with utility companies for service turn?ons or shut?offs. Communicate professionally with tenants, occupants, or neighbors when necessary. Requirements Ability to rekey properties (training provided for the right candidate). Must be comfortable entering homes that may be in poor condition or have mold, debris, or strong odors. Able to handle occasional interactions with upset or emotional occupants calmly and professionally. Highly organized, dependable, and able to manage a route and meet deadlines independently. Reliable transportation and valid drivers license. Camera and basic computer skills (uploading photos, submitting reports online). Ability to pass a background check and drug test. Must work as a 1099 independent contractor. Property preservation or handyman experience is a strong plus. Education is helpful but not required.
