Part-time Receptionist Opportunity at MICA – Join Our Arizona Team!

At Mutual Insurance Company of Arizona (MICA), we’ve been protecting and defending the practice of medicine since 1976. We’re proud to be the leading provider of medical professional liability insurance in Arizona, with a growing presence across the Mountain West. We’re now looking for a Part-Time Receptionist to join our team at our Phoenix office.

This in-office role is Monday through Friday from 11:45 AM to 5:00 PM , and is ideal for someone who thrives in a professional environment, enjoys interacting with people, and takes pride in keeping things organized and running smoothly.

What You’ll Do:

• Answer and route incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy

• Maintain and update front desk procedures and train relief receptionists

• Greet visitors and manage front door security

• Sort and distribute incoming mail; process outgoing mail and coordinate UPS/FedEx pickups

• Handle hand-delivered items (packages, lunches, etc.)

• Schedule meetings and appointments for internal teams

• Track and order office supplies and manage inventory

• Assist with administrative tasks such as assembling materials, maintaining phone lists, and supporting company events

What We’re Looking For:

• 2–3 years of receptionist experience in a professional setting (at least one year in a customer service role)

• Experience with multi-line phone systems

• Strong organization and time management skills

• A professional demeanor and polished communication style

• Comfortable using Microsoft Word and general office software (typing 34–45 WPM)

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused

Pay Range: $20-$24 an hour
