This role is for a Registered Nurse in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting, requiring critical care experience and advanced life support certifications. The RN will provide skilled nursing care to critically ill patients, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and may float to Medical-Surgical units as needed. A minimum of two years of experience is required.

Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care to ICU patients.
- Performing patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning.
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitoring patient vital signs and responding to changes in condition.
- Administering treatments and medications as prescribed.
- Documenting patient care accurately and completely.
- Floating to Medical-Surgical units as needed.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Minimum two years of hospital experience (preferred, but may be inferred from the fallback description).
- Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
- Interdisciplinary team collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
- Travel nursing experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Special Considerations:
- Float to Medical-Surgical (MS) units as needed.
- 36 hours per week when available.
- COVID-19 vaccination is highly recommended but not required.
- ICU environment.
Scheduling:
- 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM shift.
- Shift assignments may vary based on unit needs.
