RN Manager | Assisted Living
Holland Home in Grand Rapids is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Assisted Living Care Team at the beautiful Breton Woods Campus. This role involves overseeing daily operations and managing the care team for three assisted living units, home to approximately 45 residents.

Responsibilities
Manages the day-to-day activities and personnel of assigned unit.
Supervises, mentors and evaluates employees, assures adequate staffing levels, and manages employee relations issues.
Monitors the quality of care provided on the unit, assuring compliance and organizational standards.
Coordinates admissions to and discharges from the unit; completes required documentation.
Investigates and resolves issues and concerns regarding unit operations and services.
Maintains unit statistics and prepares related reports.
Oversees scheduling of resident appointments; assists the physician with evaluations and procedures.
Coordinates and completes assessments and service plans for new admissions to ensure optimal resident functioning. Revises service plans as needed.
Collaborates within interdisciplinary team and attends resident care conferences.
Prepares required documentation and performs related tasks.
Oversees the assessment schedule, assuring all residents are assessed within the Holland Home policy and State requirements.
Ensures appropriate assessments and management of chronic and emergent medical issues.

Qualifications
Licensed RN in Michigan; BSN preferred
CPR Certification
Two to four years of geriatric experience, including some supervisory responsibilities in geriatrics is required
Experience working with older adults with dementia is strongly preferred
