Job Description
We are seeking a Robotics Engineer who is excited to build, test, and refine collaborative mobile robots designed for manufacturing environments. In this role, you’ll work on both core & feature development (70%) and real-world deployment, contributing to navigation, vision systems, and motion planning while also supporting customer integrations. It’s a hands-on position with the opportunity to make an immediate impact in an innovative, high-growth company.

Responsibilities

• Design and refine computer vision tools to support object detection, recognition of assets, and interpretation of complex environments.

• Build and improve SLAM algorithms to enable accurate mapping and localization in fast-changing manufacturing settings.

• Create and test motion planning solutions that allow robots to move safely and efficiently through warehouse and production spaces

• Partner with field teams to ensure smooth integration of robotic systems into customer environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges that arise during system deployment.
• Perform hands-on testing and validation of robots directly at customer sites.
• Collaborate with system integrators to tailor solutions to unique customer requirements.
• Assist in building and presenting proof-of-concept projects and demonstrations.
  

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2 years’ experience in robotics industry
• Programming proficiency in Python and C++ with exposure to robotics frameworks such as ROS/RO2
• Experience with computer vision, OpenCV, PCL or similar vision libraries
• Hardware knowledge of LiDAR, cameras, or IMU sensors and their applications in robotics
• Strong foundation in mathematics and control theory
• Ability for some travel to customer sites when required

The base salary range for this position is $80,000–$110,000 annually, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Final salary will depend on skills, qualifications, and experience.
