Job Description

Growing Galleria-area business law firm is seeking a Texas attorney with 10+ years of experience in bankruptcy and creditor rights. Candidates should possess significant knowledge of and experience with Title 11, bankruptcy procedure, and bankruptcy courts. Must be able to advise clients and the Firm’s other attorneys on issues that come up in such matters. Candidates should also have portable business and the skills and experience to develop new clients in this area in connection with the Firm’s existing attorneys and with the support of the Firm.

The Firm has three main practice areas including Litigation/Creditor Rights, Transactional, and Estate Planning and Probate. The Firm primarily represents small and medium-sized businesses, startups, investors, and individuals in the Greater Houston area, but has a number of nationally-recognized clients.

The Firm’s culture is unique and highly-valued. The Firm adheres to six core values in order to provide the best legal services for its clients, which include, among others, a focus on long-term relationships, a commitment to understanding and working to advance each client’s business, and working collaboratively both inside and outside of the firm (willingness to work as part of a team is a must). These core values are a part of the Firm’s workplace culture and are an important component of its compensation and advancement model. In addition, the Firm’s culture expects attorneys to engage in Firm sponsored activities that foster team building and cohesiveness.
