Senior Living Community Cook – Confidential Location
Centralia, Sandoval, Odin Area
Schedule: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Every other weekend availability required
About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook to join our senior living community. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious, high-quality meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. Working closely with the dietary team, you’ll help plan menus, maintain kitchen operations, and ensure a positive dining experience for all residents.
Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working with seniors or individuals with special dietary needs
Familiarity with menu planning and inventory management
Prepare and cook meals that are nutritious, appealing, and meet dietary requirements
Collaborate with the dietary team to plan menus and ensure timely meal service
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
Ensure compliance with all food handling and safety standards
Assist with inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies
As a Cook in our senior living community, you’ll use your culinary skills and food safety knowledge to create enjoyable meals that support resident wellness. Your teamwork, organization, and attention to detail will help maintain smooth kitchen operations and ensure residents receive the highest quality dining experience every day.
